Naptime

On Monday, all three of my babies...

...took naps at the same time.

It was glorious.

To celebrate, I made a barbeque chicken pizza.
It made my kitchen smell like Head Country.

That, too, was glorious.

The End

  1. Yeah... I'm going to need that pizza recipe.

And I love the picture of Atticus asleep in a bevy of toys.

That's the (rough) link to this recipe, with a few small exceptions:
Instead of making my own pizza crust, I used a box of Jiffy mix (you can't beat $0.48 a box at Wal-Mart). I also didn't add red onions, because we don't like them. And I didn't put on any cilantro, although I do like that; I just didn't have any on hand.

Atticus always sleeps in a pool of toys and books, and usually not on his bed. This morning I found him on the floor- legs and lower half of his torso under the bed, upper half sticking out. He was using a Vikings hat as a pillow. I don't know why.

  3. That's the same woman who wrote the book Kay gave to me! Her recipe for cinnamon rolls are SO good even though I don't make my own dough... just used refrigerated biscuits I kneaded into a big heap, rolled it out, and went to town. Mmm...

  4. Aaah, I've been wanting that cookbook, partly for the cinnamon roll recipe! Did you halve the recipe? Because her online version makes SEVEN pans of rolls.

Did you think you could cheat and just read the comments without writing one yourself? Cheater.
